About Dr.Monica Morrow
Dr.Morrow is a surgical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of breast cancer. In 2002 and 2007, she co-chaired the joint committee of the American College of Surgeons, American College of Radiology, and College of American Pathologists on Standards for Breast-Conserving Therapy for Invasive Breast Cancer and Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS). Dr.Morrowâ€™s current research interest is on how treatment choices for surgical treatment for breast cancer are made. She is the surgical editor of the textbook â€œDiseases of the Breastâ€� and the co-author of â€œBreast Cancer for Dummies.â€� Dr.Morrow was the President of the Society of Surgical Oncology in the year 2012-2013.
